…After having a stressed day on campus at the school Higher National Diploma Interview.
Gotten home, I took a shower because it was a hot day, relaxing on a bare cool floor…I turned to my cellphone as usual (during relaxation) to check my unread popup messages and I came across this beautiful message shared in (Sufi Meadows Whatsapp group).
…the message was shared by a knowledgeable Imam in the United States of America (Shaykh Muhammad Abdullahi), he happens to be the sharer and the interpreter of the wise and precious text related to Maolana Shaykh Ahmad Tijani Sheriff (ra)
Couldn’t wait till the next day to write a blog on it despite the fact that I was tired (smiles…)
The beautiful piece goes as thus:

وصية الشيخ أحمد التجاني رضي الله عنه للمقدمين
يشترط في المقدم في الطريقة التجانية أن يتخلق بمكارم الأخلاق، و يتحلى بمحاسن الآداب، وحسن المعاشرة مع الإخوان، وقد جمع سيدنا رضي الله عنه أهم ما يجب على المقدم أن يتصف به من ذلك في وصيته للمقدمين
The pre-condition of all Muqaddams in the Tariqa Tijaniyya is to behave with the best of character (makaram al-akhlaq), to adorn themselves with beautiful manners (mahasin al-adab), and to associate and mix with the brethren (ma’ashirat ma’a ikhwan).
قال رضي الله عنه:
“وأوصي من كان مقدما على إعطاء الورد: أن يعفو للإخوان عن الزلل، وأن يبسط رداء عفوه على كل خلل،
Our master said:
“My advice to whosoever is a muqaddam who is authorized to transmit the wird is to forgive and pardon the brethren of every mistake or error, and to stretch out the garment of pardon and indulgence (to cover) every defect, imperfection & shortcoming.”
